Aquatech - Poor Service and Refusal to Return Deposit Paid

I have recently engaged the services of Aquatech pools to treat and clean my pool and return it to a state that it can be used. A quote was provided and initially Aquatech demanded full upfront payment for all the work - this should have been the first warning sign. Luckily I did not agree to full payment. I agreed to pay a deposit and final payment on completion of work. The agreement was made on a Monday for them to start work on Tuesday. Their first visit was on a Wednesday. I was told verbally that they would return on Thursday to clean the pool as the pool needed to stand for 24 hours. They team came back on Friday, swept up the pool and then verbally indicated that they will be back on Monday. On the Monday afternoon I get a message from Aquatech pools asking me if they could come to treat the pool on Wednesday. My response was that it was unacceptable and if they don't proceed with the work as planned, then they need to re-imburse and I will find someone else to complete the work. They refused and stated they will be on site Wednesday. I responded saying if that is the case then they need to re-imburse me and I will find someone else to complete the work timeously. The gentlemen I spoke "Peter" refused to re-imburse me. I threatened to report them to the police and the response I got was that he will "accompany me to the police station" and then also ended the call saying " he needs to end the call so that I can go to the police station" An arrogant response to say the least. I have now started the process of recouping my deposit from Aquatech, which will take time but well worth it. My advise to anyone another. do not use this company service is poor and their attitudes stinks
