Bathroom Renovation Failure

Costly mistakes, poor workmanship and non-committal. When visible errors were pointed out, the response was to walk out on the job. This occurred on two occasions, the 2nd time was final, leaving two jobs incomplete. One of them had been paid in full. Zero quality control or accountability.

Issues with the bathroom renovation included (but not limited to) the following:

- Floor and wall tiles not level. Floor issue results in shower water flowing out the shower; wall issue resulted in shower door hinges not flush, leaving *****s exposed.

- Shower plumbing done incorrectly, resulting in shower hose turning on before showerhead; should default to showerhead - will require tiles to be lifted and replaced after plumbing is fixed

- Shower installed without waterproofing the floor or walls; was resolved at customer's request, however required tiles to be lifted and more tiles to be purchased.

- Shower floor tiles cut and laid down without enough grouting; result was tile edges were too sharp and had to be chopped out and retiled by new builder

- Bathroom window arm cannot close properly as tiles have been laid incorrectly; new builder had to drill hole in tile so window can close; permanent issue

This company is not registered with the Western Cape Builders Association or National Home Builders Reg. Council, and is therefore not accountable to anyone. Would highly recommend against using their services.
