Incorrect diagnosis and expensive repair that did not fix the leak

Very disappointing experience. I called them out to diagnose and fix a pool leak. They confidently advised that the pool pipe needed replacing, quoted for the work, completed it, and I paid in full.

The leak was never fixed.

Afterwards, I was told the real issue was actually the pool pump. In other words, I paid for a repair based on an incorrect diagnosis that solved nothing. Had I been given the correct information from the start, I would never have approved the repair.

Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company handles them. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a fair resolution, I was simply told the work had been done and still expected to absorb the cost.

I would recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing repairs with this company and will be taking this matter up further.
