Takes the money and disappears

<p>In November 2017 I agreed with a Mr JH Botha trading as Aqua Vitae in south and west Cape to install a 50 GPD (gallons/day) reverse osmosis water purifier at my home. The invoice stated clearly '50 GPD RO with pump installed'. He left a system and tank to be installed the following Friday. I transferred the money to his bank account.</p> <p>He did not show the Friday and did not answer my calls. The following day I sent an SMS to which he later responded that his cell phone was ****** during a break in. At least he should have made an effort to let me know, using another cell or phone.</p> <p>This happened at least 7 times, promising a new date, not arriving, no apology, replying to my SMS with another fabricated excuse promising a new date.</p> <p>Finally I insisted that he pay back the money and collect his purifier, to which he eventually agreed. No payment.</p> <p>In February 2018 I sent a final demand of the small claims court to pay within 14 days --- still no payment.</p> <p>In April the small claims court ruled that I lawfully canceled the agreement and ordered him to pay back my money with interest. He promised (under oath) to do so within 7 days. No payment, contempt of the court.</p> <p>When at one stage I threatened to charge him with *****, he became very upset saying that I should not incriminate him. He claimed that for many years he has a long list of satisfied clients.
