****** on vacation!

-The guesthouse was broken into on the last night of our stay while we were asleep. The guesthouse keys; 2 cell phones and some money were taken. Speaking to the locals that weekend, we found that break-ins happen at this guesthouse all the time. -The electric fencing doesn't work at all. -The afrikaans owner's response to our distress was "Well, you know South Africa" -Tried to report it to the local police, their response was "Report it upon your return to Johannesburg" -Tried to report it as soon as we arrived in Johannesburg where we were told that we should have reported the incident to the local police in The Vaal. -Seems to be some kind of syndicate. Be very careful!
