Unprofessional

<p>In July of this year my fiancé and I went to Aqua Terra guest house in Simons Town for the weekend. We had checked in the evening in the closed estate and went out for supper. On our return we found that our room had been opened, not broken into forcefully, but opened as I had made sure that I locked the door. Most of our luggage was ****** including our gadgets. Only our belongings had been ****** and non of the guest house' plasma TV, kettles, etc had been touched. We were the only guests there at the time as well as the assistant manager and her husband and kid. </p> <p>Now what gets to me the most is that all of this is was handled unprofessionally by the manager who goes by the name of Val (Vallarie) who claimed to be on the property on the night of the break in but never once did we see her nor did she come and welcome us as her guests. We got so much attitude from her when we asked for the owners details so we could asked if they had insurance. Our ****** items totaled a cost of over R30 000. </p> <p>Up until today we still haven't heard a word from them again nor has the owner contacted us, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And the police are doodling and dragging their feet on this matter. </p> <p>If you visit the establishment be careful with your belongings. </p>
