My Oprah Moment

I was interested in purchasing a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. Upon a recent trip to Cape Town, I went to the apsley 2 store at the V & A waterfront. On arrival at the store, 2 designs of the Christian Louboutin shoes were noted. I engaged the store assistant, who was attending to 3 tourists in the store. I enquired of the two styles were the only styles that she had in her store, she said yes. I did not particularly like the styles but asked if I could try a pair on of either style in my size- in order to gauge size, fit and look. She retorted that if I didn't like the styles that she couldn't understand why I would like to try it on. Aghast, I explained that I had made contact with Mr mphago, in the Johannesburg store and that he had emailed me styles but I wanted to try on a pair before purchasing. She then said that she had a only a size 40 and this would not fit me as I am a size 41. She was incredibly rude to me but extremely pleasant to the tourists in the store - going to great pains to explain prices in dollars. I noted a while later, the very same tourists had left the store without purchasing a single item. Her disgusting attitude cost her a sale.
