Pathetic customer service

We arrived at Apron Strings today at approximately 15:40 for a light meal, when we were told by a staff member that they’re closed. However their trading hours with regard to public holidays, states that they are open until 16:30. Today is 9 August 2019. There were also other patrons on the premises.

This did not make sense to us, as we were not asked (at least) what we wanted to eat or drink, simply just told they’re closed. I find their lack of customer centricity appalling to say the least. Not going there again.
