My son bought a vehicle from Approved Auto and Trucks, having just started his own business he had to get a loan from an independent. He bought the vehicle in January of this year 2017, he has had 3 weeks of driving it, in all that time they have tried to repair all the latent defects, it has sat in 3 workshops up to this date, the engine is now in the boot ! he paid R80.000 in cash ! In this period he has had to use my car to conduct his business. He was even swore at by one repair shop owner, told to F... off C... he did not sign on the agreement for latent defects, he recourse to law but cannot afford an attorney.... he wants his money back to purchase a new car, settle his loan, in these 11 months he has been paying instalments and insurance on this vehicle ! he needs help, Approved Auto and Trucks, Durban have threatened him , had some 'religeous advisor' phone him at 2.30 in the morning, in a threatening way....... what can he do ?
