False advertising **** - Generators for sale Appliance Liquidators Centre

Beware of this organisation: Appliance Liquidators Centre. They advertise extensively on Facebook, offering new electrical appliances and gym equipment from a Pretoria address. It is supposed to be liquidated stock. We contacted them in early January to enquire about a Diesel Generator they were advertising (still are). They eventually answered, advised they had stock and sent us an invoice. We paid for the generator plus shipping as per invoice, and were told it would be delivered by the end of that week. That was 17th Jan. Since then they have never answered their phone, do not answer emails or whatsapp messages, and have blocked me from facebook comments. We got an answer ONCE, someone called Craig, and were told the machine would definitely be delivered that week. This was another false promise. We are R15+K out of pocket and cannot get any response from them. I suspect this is a major ****. They either do not exist, or do not have stock, or routinely offer items they do not have, take orders for them, and once they are paid they then disappear. It is a dishonest business practise and very deceptive advertising.
