Customer Service Fail - Dennis

Dennis was called to fix a blocked dishwasher. He replaced the drain pump and confirmed that the machine was fixed - he confirmed he tested it. I paid him the same day. When my wife returned from work she found the floor surrounding the dishwasher flooded. I called Dennis and he returned to check the machine. He fixed the leak. The machine would however now not run at all. The machine shut off the minute the start button was pressed. Dennis said, "not to worry", as it would work the next day - components got wet and just needed to dry out. The next day the machine did not work. I called Dennis again. He again visited my property, fixed the machine and sent me video of it working. When I got home and tested the machine - it did not work. I let Dennis know this the following day and asked him to investigate. I sent 2 further such requests. All requests were ignored. On Friday 13 May, I called Dennis to ask what the plan was. Dennis claimed that it was working and that I didn't know how to press the buttons. He said coming out to fix my machine was not in the best interests of his profits. He again claimed that the machine worked and that I was not pressing the buttons properly (I have owned the machine for at least 6 months - I have never had an issue with being able to turn it on or off). I suggested that he "show me" how to work the machine on Monday - Dennis said he would call me if he was in my area. He did not confirm that he would be there. I then suggested that I would have to go the legal route to recoup the costs of fixing a machine that he clearly broke. Dennis then proceeded to call me an idiot on multiple occasions. Customer service at its best. Important notes: - The machine is still under warranty. I confirmed this with Dennis prior to him working on it. Dennis confirmed, in writing, that his work would not void the warranty. - I have recording of the call - at no point did I scream at, or insult Dennis.
