False Advertising - Paid and not repaired

Appliance Repair Pros website promises 'expert professional technicians' undertake repairs but don't send their own employees.

I was sent a unqualified, non expert 'Area Agent' from Roodepoort called 'Wisdom' to repair my fridge on 22 May. The fridge was icing up behind the crisper drawer.

He re gassed the fridge after the 'repair' without using gauges and left it running constantly and overheating. I'd paid him R1650.00.

I reported the problem to Appliance Repair Pros and he was sent back two days later and re gassed the fridge again. Left cycling and not overheating but the original fault was not repaired.

I've emailed the company 3 times requesting an 'expert professional technician' come and do the job correctly or for my R1650 to be refunded but no response to date.

I've been told the icing up is caused by a faulty thermostat and a simple, inexpensive fix. I was ****med!

This company do not send their own technicians. They're an agency farming out leads to technicians they don't know, for a fee.

Unreliable false advertisers!
