Wrongful accused

I took my iPhone for repairs for a dead pixels phone still under warranty. Couple of days later i get a call from the call agent from Apple ladies name lerato telling me my damage is not covered under warranty because there is physical damage on the phone. When I told her to check on the report when I send the phone in to Apple there was no phone physical damage. She ignored and sent me the quote. I told her I’m not accepting the quote she call me back and ask me the same question. The more I told her to check the report when I sent the phone in. She then sent me photos of my phone bent I was really angry and been ignored knowing I didn’t send my phone in like that. I had to drive all the way to canal walk store and plead my case the manager heard about my case but the decent thing is to call the client and inform me they know about it and looking into the case. Eventually got my phone sorted after I can’t remember how long it took. All the manger justin king said was it is a new call centre.

Please note that your unit has physical damage which has voided the warranty.

Please find attached a quotation. Please note that the quotation is only valid for 7 days. Should you require an assessment letter for insurance purposes, we will happily provide one for you.

The service module in South Africa for iPads, iPhones, iPods as well as the Apple Watch is whole unit swap outs. Unfortunately, we do not procure any parts from Apple to facilitate repairs on these devices therefore, the quotation attached is for a whole unit replacement. The replacement unit carries a 90 day warranty only.

If you would like us to proceed with your replacement unit, please supply us with quote acceptance in writing via email.

Please note that we are unable to re-do invoices. For this reason, please supply us with the correct billing details, i.e. * Person or entity to be invoiced (Company or Private) * Address to appear on the invoice * VAT Number if needed * PO Number if needed * Any other information required to display on the invoice.
