****** phone - breached apple ID - two factor authetication fail.

After having my phone ******, and stopping the sim. I access the apple login, only to discover that the ******* had somehow bypassed the 2-factor authentication, but also change the cellphone number associated with my apple account. After trying unsuccessfully with the online retrieval services. I called the call centre number listed. While they talked me through the process again when they realised the number had been changed. Their attitude was essentially tough ****, not our problem, despite that this breach also makes my other apple devices essentially useless. There is on way to regain control of the account. While I have all the related accounts, purchase, there seems a way to prove that this account is in fact mine. They have refused to either close the account, which contains a fair amount of private data which can now be circulated far and wide by the *******. or at least refund me for the purchase made on the account, over the last 10 years. I would recommend that anyone using an Apple phone, not store any data on it and use third party serves, for anything which required you to spend money on the device.
