Shame on you Apple - IP67 water resistant isn't even close

I am highly disappointed in one of my favourite tech companies, Apple ...been an avid supporter and used apple products for many years. as one of those that always has the latest gadget , I have an iPhone X and an apple watch series 5, both are now either defunct semi operational due to slight water damage, I was under the impression that both are both water and dust resistant to IP67 standards , apparently not even close .... The watch went with me for a short SUP session and got a bit of water on it, while the iPhone went on a run with me and got some sweat on it (not drenched, I wasn't running that far) Anyway phone went off completely and the watch has limited functionality, when I went to the Istore for some service or tech support, the sentiment was " water damage??? forget about it, get a new device , or go down the road to the after market people and try your luck" Really ?? IP67? water resistant? your products have become a joke, the funny part is that I also have an iPhone 8, got the same sweat as the X, not an issue, yet the new fancy X, goes on the blink with a few drops of moisture? what a joke has apple became??? I guess the upgrade will get an android....I cringe at the thought, but I guess it will take the beating a bit better
