refused to help

my iphone crashed and when it reset it wouldnt let me sign into my phone to activate it. i went to the apple shop in eastgate and customer service said the could help me and it would only take 2 minute. but i need to make an appointment and come back in 2 weeks. for a 2 minute fix?
