please help apple South africa!!!

why is it that apple will not take responsibility when my brand new i phone 8 has a faulty screen!! NO MATTER HOW HARD WE try, we cannot take the necesary precautions (buying a screen protector) to keep the screen from cracking and getting scratches because no screen protectors will stick because the screen is more curved than usual??? .. surely its due to a manufacture fault..someone that actual cares PLEASE HELP!!! this is beyond shocking
