Nobody in South Africa can do repairs on a Apple I

Drop my 1 week old Iphone 6 in the water. Had no insurance on it. Take it to Vodacom repair shop in Bloemfontein. They told me that I must throw it in the dustbin nobody fix Iphones with water damage in South Africa. Then took it to Istore in Bloemfontein Waterfront. They said that nobody can fix Iphone with water damage and offer me R3000 trade in on a new Iphone that cost R10 000. Then took it to Procell. They took it in and said they will open it and see if it comes on if they remove the water. 3 days later I collect the Iphone from then and they said they clean the water out but it is still dead and they don't have spares to fix it further. I then took the phone to a Iphone repair centre in Pretoria. They immediately said they don't fix Iphones with water damage and I must buy a new one. So every one who want to buy a Iphone, better get insurance for water damage or be prepare to loose a lot of money. there will be no support for you if it lands in the water and replacing it will be your only option.
