Multiple Apple Watch failures

I have had two Apple Watches. The first lasted 18 months and then stopped working. The Second lasted about 3 years and did the same. On both occasions the feedback from Apple is that these are sealed units and cannot be repaired. They just should be thrown away and another one bought.

Although I don't expect the watch to last forever, I am extremely disappointed that I have now had two experiences where the Apple watch has lasted a lot shorter time than I would expect. The warrantee is one year so on both occasions Apple has taken no responsibility.

Very disappointing.
