Macbook Pro Retina Screen

I'm a professional film editor, and therefore require a great laptop to work from. That's what I thought I was getting when I spent over R30 000 on a new Mac Book Pro Retina. After 1 year of owning the machine, the screen started to come off. Literally the black around the screen began to fade and appear 'scratched'. I took my laptop into the Apple store and as it was just out of warranty the sales team told me I'd have to replace the whole screen. <br> <br> I decided to live with the bit of damage. I'm now 2 years into owning the machine, which I'd like to add I clean only with water and a micro fibre clothe to be safe, and the screen is almost entirely ruined. The coating is now coming off in the centre of the display as well. This is shocking as I bought the machine for the screen quality! needless to say, it's also embarrassing when working with directors and producers who notice the damage and point it out. <br> <br> Apple has been no help, my company bought 4 more of these machines around the same time and none of these have lost their Retina screens. It's shocking how bad the quality of this Mac is. I expected way more, and certainly better after-sales service for such an expensive laptop.
