Iwatch battery disaster

Apparently if you don’t charge you iwatch for 4 months it stops working! Apple cannot fox but quote almost R5000 to replace! I had left it overseas and finally got a friend to bring back and now doesn’t charge. Insurance won’t pay as a maintenance issue. Not impressed with Apple that they can make a product that stops working if you don’t charge it!! Warning to all.
