iPhone SE 2020 heating up problem

Took my 2 month old SE 2020 for repairs because it excessively heats up, drains the battery and shuts itself down. I keep receiving conflicting information 1st saying they sorted the battery issue, subsequently saying there was no problem identified. The phone heats up so much it damages the home button, and they aware of this since the iPhone 8. Can't believe they are charging R12k for a product that cant even work for 3 months.
