iPhone poor service in activating a forgotten Apple password

iPhone customer support sucks. I recently upgraded to iPhoneX and forgotten my Apple passwor. All iPhone stores in Durban count assist me only referring me to Apple International call which did not help me. Its been 7 days not able to use my iPhone Apps which include my Banking.
