Iphone crash after update

Well I always thought iphone was the coolest phone ever. So when i could upgrade to one i did. I took the iphone 7. This was a year ago. Last month when IOS 11.03 came i updated my phone and when is was finished updating my phone kept restarting. I read on the support line that i had to force restart so i did. Nothing happened and it said i had to restore it via itunes. Plugged it in and after everything it got stuck in that phrase "verifying iphone software update." I left if on that for two days and nothing. Took it to vodacom and they said the mother board had crashed. I am very meticulous with my phone. I don't drop it and left it fall for some or other reason. So thanks apple for that great update you sent out. And sounds like i am not the only person complaining.
