Ipad disappointment!

Apple products...... Supposed to have quality products with fantastic after sales assistance...... Think again and think twice when purchasing. We bought 2 of 7Gen 10.2" 128g ipads in Jan 2021 from the istore in Sandton for my sons. In May this year, 1year 3months later one of the devices refused to switch on. When we took it in to istore, we where told its out of the 1 year warranty and that if its a software issue they would update the ipad and its shold be fine, BUT if its a hardware issue they can't repair. It did turn out to be some hardware fault. How is it that if the hardware is faulty it can't be repaired? We were offered a measly R300 for a trade in to purchase another new ipad. I find it absolutely ridiculous that an apple ipad, which doesn't come cheap, could only last for after 15 months.... Very disappointed and disheartened by Apple. Don't think we will purchase Apple products anymore. Be warned ⚠️ with your choice of products.
