How the i-Store and Apple can ruin a 50th birthday present.

<p>This is a horror story in the making for 2-months. My brand new Apple Watch Series 2, screen popped off whilst walking on the golf course following my son. </p> <p> </p> <p>i-Store had 3 employees thoroughly inspect this Watch for external damage that could have caused this. They could find nothing, now they claim after putting the Watch under a magnifying glass that they found damage that caused the screen to pop off. </p> <p> </p> <p>What makes this this laughable is that this is a sports Watch, not even normal watch screens pops off in daily use from damage found under magnifying glasses. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have taken this this up with i-Store thru' their branch manager to the CEO, Andrew Mundell ( ********** 635) but not one of them are interested in really settling the matter. The CEO promised to come back to me after I spoke to him but after 3-4 weeks I am still to hear from him. </p> <p> </p> <p>The other person not to be trusted from the company is Linda Dean. She makes offers to settle the matter then withdraws them the next day. She really does not seem to know what sees doing. Apparently she is in customer service which is scary as she clearly know nothing about customer service. </p> <p> </p> <p>In fact the store manager at the Eastgate branch recommended that I take legal action against company. I am actually taking up his advice. </p> <p> </p> <p>A BIG WARNING TO All i-STORE CUSTOMERS </p> <p>i-Store who is a reseller of Apple products not actually Apple themselves. Yet they hide behind Apple to say consumers must not lodge complaints with i-Store but with Apple. In fact they want the customer to deal Apple when there is no commercial relationship between Apple and the customer. </p> <p> </p> <p>My advice to to anyone that wants to purchase an Apple product, stay clear from i-Store as they have no intention to honour any warranties. Buy from other stores that sell these products. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
