Give me my money back or a MacBook that isn't faulty from new.

I bought a MacBook Air one year ago before I started travelling and after using it for a month I started experiencing problems. The closest place that I could take it was in Sao Paulo Brazil. I sat without a MacBook for two weeks, and they informed me nothing was wrong. then I took it in again a few weeks later as the entire Mac stopped working. They kept it for a few weeks and apparently replaced the entire bottom section, including the mousepad, logic board, etc etc. The Mac was returned and the hinges weren't working correctly, it was slow and the trackpad wasn't working. As I was travelling I had to leave Brazil and continued to struggle using the MacBook for the next few months.

As soon as I got back to SA I took the Mac back to the apple store which I brought it from and they informed me that as I had taken it into another apple store in a different country they couldn't replace the unit for me and also could not TRACK what repairs had been previously done, but would send it in for more repairs (TYPICAL). Another track pad and logic board replacement later, the Mac is still slow and the track pad is making a terrible clicking noise when it is used - obviously because they keep trying to fix a product defect with plastic surgery!!!! I'm so tired of the issues I've had with this. I replaced my old MacBook Pro with an air as I thought it would be so much easier to travel with it but it has not stopped giving me problems.

After paying R13000 for a glorified laptop, one always assumes it is because of the "brand quality" but I purchased a dud MacBook Air with so many problems and apple just keeps replacing the parts. Warranty is now up and the problems are still occurring. If I had to get TWO logic board replacements in under a year, clearly there is an issue with this product.

Give me my money back or a new replacement, it is only fair!!! You can't sell your dud products to people and then expect us to foot the bill once the warranty of replacing the same parts over and over again is gone.

I have been a loyal iPhone and apple product user for years, but after this experience I have realised that this brand is just a logo and our "perception" that their brand is quality is such a load of glorified propaganda. Loyal life time customers LOST.
