Faulty powerbeats - Unhappy and disapppointed

I bought a pair of PowerBeats wireless 3 on June 2019, and during March 2020 they started to malfunction, the battery drained quickly after a few hours of playing music. Immediately I sent them to the apple store for repairs since they were under warranty but Apple insisted that there is nothing wrong with them and sent them back on 12 March 2020. A month later after I received them, they started to restart themselves while playing, so I sent them back again for repairs and again Apple said there is nothing wrong and sent them back on 28 May 2020. I wrote to the repair center that they have not tested the unit properly, if I'm getting the same unit and it is not repaired it will give me the same issues, they insisted that they did not find any fault. I used them for 2 days and I could recreate the same issue, so I booked them in again, Apple did not test them because they gave me the same issue a few days after I received the unit. I booked the unit again on 8 June 2020. They returned the unit back on 20 June 2020 again stating the unit is not faulty. Again I had the same issue and book them in again on 28 June 2020, suddenly they agreed that the unit has a problem but I need to pay over R3000 because the unit is out of warranty.

I phoned the istore and repair center explaining the situation and they asked me to call Apple South Africa explaining the issue since I have been dealing with them for over 3 months, I called but all I got was that the unit is out of warranty.

I am really disappointed at the level of service I received, the repair center just did not want to admit that the unit was faulty and replace/fix the unit while under warranty but they only admitted the fault after it was out of warranty, is this the way Apple treats all their customers? I'm utterly disappointed at the level of service I received.
