Faulty iPhone 7

I purchased the iPhone 7 I have had a problem where I cannot receive or make calls,the speaker icon is grayed out .I went to the apple store at Centurion Mall today 10/062019, I explain to the consultant what is wrong and he told me this is a known problem with the ics chip that iPhone 7 has ,I asked him how can this be repaired and he said that it can’t be repaired and that I will have to buy a new iPhone . I told him that is a factory fault for all iPhone 7 why are they not sorting this issue out has I paid a lot of money for it and he said sorry they can’t do anything about it . I really thought that IPhone was the best phone but after this situation and defect of this iphone 7 I would never ever buy an iPhone ever again
