Does apple treat orders that individually

Me and a friend each ordered apple watches at precisely the same time on Wednesday 13 Jan 16. We where naturally excited and tracked the orders most closely up until the point that the orders where marked for delivery out with the driver on Friday 15 Jan 16. I know that my friend got his watch first thing in the morning and now I am sitting without mine. The orders where placed same day and time yet the one is delivered and the other not?
