disappointing experience with Apple

It is with utmost remorse that i have to say this but i am extremely disappointed that in just a year , my handset , brand new apple iPhone 6 is faulty and needs to be replaced at a cost of R4000 + as it just randomly decided to not switch on. first and foremost , this phone has not fallen and certainly no liquid damage as the received quotes clearly states that its an on board problem. my whole experience has been a nightmare . it took a lot for me to change from Samsung to Apple but i can say one thing for sure , this is a complete *******!!!! for a fault that is not within my control? this is rather disappointing.
