Apple Watch

I have purchased a apple watch 1year 5months ago and because of a software update, my phone had got a error and stopped working, Apple will not assist me in fixing my watch they simply said by a new one. I did research, and found many articles blaming Apple because of there update, also on YouTube there is videos because of this problem I have - other people are sitting with the same problem.
