APPLE uses my device for personal use.

So i sent apple the following email with my device which i had a problem with.

"Good day, trust that you are well.

Something I thought I should bring to your attention with regard to my iPhone 7 Plus, I have sent it in for repairs at the gateway I store branch 2 Weeks before lockdown could commence. There was a battery issue where the phone would heat up a lot while charging, even when not charging at times.

Apple repair centre had sent me an email saying that they had ran a full diagnostic test and everything is normal on the phone, there's nothing wrong with it & proceeded to send my device back to the iStore Gateway. Today (01 May 2020) When level 4 lockdown had commenced I decided to head over to the iStore gateway to pick up my device. I picked up the device and headed back home, when I reached I decided to let it charge for a while as it was stone dead.

The device eventually charged and I have noticed that it isn't a fresh install, the phone was already setup "press home to enter" on the phone all of my stuff is removed which isn't a problem, but the question is why is my phone being used for personal use, this is very unprofessional and poor workmanship, the device should have been freshly formatted ready for "ME" to use, Not for someone to download Cassper Nyovest music and airdrop it to "Malesela". Also on the "Photos" there were pictures of other broken iPhones and AirPods, this is ********* for a company like Apple to do this.

If you take notice in the video you can see the date when the photos where taken out (19th, 20th, 24th March) During a course of 3 days my device was used for other purposes.

Please look into this, it makes me doubt apple if any tests was run on my phone and what was actually done on it.

Kind Regards"

They responded very unprofessionally by saying that i told them thats what the device does when i use it which isnt the case, the device only heats up when being charged to an extent where it gives a temperature warning.

This was their response

"Good day Yusheen,

Thank you for your patience while i escalated this case. I have received the following feedback from our service centre Functional troubleshooting entails using the devise in a way that the customer would use the devise to make sure that it does not experience any of the faults reported. The tech would have had to do functional troubleshooting in order to replicate the fault that the customer had reported and should have done a factory reset after the troubleshooting. Apologies that the reset was not done on our side, this was not meant to be blatant disregard, but rather an oversight on our part. Please excuse the inconvenience and frustration caused.

I trust this assists."
