Apple Service Disappoints

I have been running my production company with Apple machines since 2007. I recently noticed that my MacBook Pro 15" mid 2015 started "wobbling" when I put it down and realised that the battery was swelling. Went to the iStore Fourways after seeing online that these mid 2015 machines has had battery issues and Apple would replace it. The link iStores uses to check you "eligibility" said the following: Serial Number Invalid Input The serial number you entered is not eligible under this program because either: It's not in the affected serial number range. Our records show that your device has already been serviced as part of this Program. My battery is obviously faulty as it is getting bigger and bigger AND my battery had definitely NOT been replaced before as I would have remembered NOT having you machine for 5-7 working days while the machine is being repaired. The i Store in Fourways verbally quoted me a minimum of R3000 battery only for repair. The entire casing is warping and I was told would probably need to be replaced too? I use to love Apple as they were amazing at fixing things within the machines when there was no physical damages? Oh and by the way, you can only request a loan machine if you have the invoice and it was purchased from the store where you are asking for the repair AND don't forget this proof of purchase is 5 years old?? Think it's time to switch and save as there is now no longer any reason to keep paying this much for a Mac Machine if the service is now as average as any PC/Laptop you can get at a fraction of the price...
