Apple say they don't repair Apple watches. Broken? Then buy a new one!

My Apple watch which I purchased in April 2022 had suddenly died on me. Apple’ iStore say they don't repair Apple watches, and that as by now it is out of warranty, I will just need to buy a new one. This is now my third Apple watch that has gone in a similar way, shortly after the one-year warranty expired.
