Apple refuses to replace iPhone under warranty

My iPhone 6 Plus was replaced under the iCare warranty in November 2016. Shortly after, the replacement unit's touch screen stopped working (which I later found out is a factory fault on the 6 Plus's). At the time I was out of the country, so in February 2017 I returned the unit to iStore Menlyn, within the 90 day warranty period given for a replacement unit.

Core sent me a quote for repair, stating thta the unit was out of warranty. I rejected the quote and proved to the in-store consultant that the unit was still under warranty.

The phone was sent back and I received yet another quote from core, after which I decided to comtact the Talk2us email centre. They requested me to rebook the unit.

I rebooked the unit and received ANOTHER quote from core. According to them, I was supposed to accept the previous quote, then my phone would be repaired under the warranty. Because I hadn't, the phone os now pit of warranty and I need to pay for the repair.

It is now more than 2 months later. Every day a new Core consultant emails me and I explain the whole story. Apple refuses to replace the phone.
