Apple milking customers

I went to the iStore in Cresta to purchase a replacement hdd ribbon cable, they quoted me R200 for the part however refused to sell me the part as this is Apple policy that they must install part and wants to charge R600 for a 5 min job plus the cost of the part for a unit that is out of warranty. I requested that they show me where this is stated on the terms of sale.
