Apple -lousy product with service to match!

I have an apple MacBook Pro which is eligible for a keyboard replacement. What they don't tell you is that the authorised dealer have to send it away, which takes 5-7 days, to determine if it is indeed eligible. Only then will you know if you are eligible and can the process start. This is not a viable option for me as freelance designer who will then arguably be without a computer for two weeks! I have been toying with the idea of moving to a PC environment for my computer and android for my phone. It seems I now have my answer.
