Apple iPhone 7 - Out of Box Failure from Vodacom

Received a brand NEW iPhone 7 from Vodacom, opened the box, set the phone up, placed it on charge and when i woke up, the phone was completely dead. The home button no longer works either. Quite disappointed as i urgently purchased a new iPhone after my iPhone 11 was ****** but now regretting the purchase as i've never had out-of-box failure from Apple before.
