apple and cell c guarantee

Apple has a warrenty of 12 months yet Cell c gave me a warrenty of 24 months why is apple allowing cell c to supply 24 month warrenties to customers when the product us actually 12 months now my apple iphone 6 plus requires repairs and I need to pay almost 12 thousand rand to get my cell c gauranteed contract phone but know apple wont let them fix my phone and they wont pay for the repairs cause they have given me a different warrenty to Apple<br>
