Appalling service at Bloemfontein Waterfront Apple Store. Great service at Sandton Apple Store

<p>Sandton Apple store were very proficient and professional. they assisted me even when I was a bit early for my appointment. when collecting though I had to wait 30 minutes + due to too little staff.</p> <p>I am however extremely and utterly disappointed with my experience with the Waterfront Bloemfontein Apple store. to the point that I regret the buying of all the Apple products that I have bought. Macbook pro, Macbook Air, Apple Ipad, Ipad Air, Apple 4 Apple 6 Plus, Apple TV, iPod, Apple Watch and Airport Time Capsule.</p> <p>I live in Lesotho up to 2 hrs drive to Bloemfontein. I go to Bloemfontein on an ad hoc basis. When I have to go to Bloemfontein and what to book, the bookings are always only available days later than when I have to go to Bloemfontein. I have tried to go their explaining my problem but is turned away. at one point even when the client that was supposed to attend her appointment did not turn up. They still sent me away, treating me like a naughty kid. They even told me that they send people away from Bethlehem 4 hours away, why would they have to help me that is 2 hours away. It does not even help to ask for the manager - he just aggrivates the matter by insisting that this is not his problem - can't I see that he does not have staff? He just sent me away - no assistance without a booking - even if they are always booked for days on end. No exception. Do not make your problem my problem. Not even when I told him that I am going to run out of guarantee. They have humiliated me to the point that I cannot walk into that store again. When I said this to the manager - he just shrugged his shoulders and said this is how Apple works and if I do not what to fit in with that it is my problem. No concern for what I needed or any exception even if the client that booked did not pitch for her appointment.</p> <p>I do go to Sandton 3 - 4 times a year. I have resorted to try to be assisted there. Their service is excellent but they also do not have enough staff but everyone is keeping you informed and updated and you can see there is effort and concern for the client.</p> <p>To go to Sandton is not the best or permanent solution for me as my circumstances can change but Bloemfontein does not care and they say Apple doesn't care - this is the procedure... this is how it is done - no exception.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you buy Apple Products at Bloemfontein Apple Store do not count on friendly caring customer support. You might have to resort to technical support - or even just to book in a damaged product in a store in another province</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
