Admits a common problem But fails to fix it!

My apple Macbook Pro developed problems.<br> After some research I discovered that this was a common problem they were experiencing with Logic boards on the same year model, and that they were replacing the faulty units.<br> I have been told that because i only reported it now that it is outside of their extended repair policy.<br> They never contacted me to say that they had found problems with this year model. Never advertised it either.<br> Now that i discover the very same problem because it falls outside their dates i am expected to pay over R8000 to fix it.<br> This is disgusting service from such a large multinational company.<br> The very fact that the problems i have are the same as the problems they had in the same model and their unwillingness to repair it shows their lack of integrity in customer care.
