Rent at own risk

<div>This Company has caused me a great deal of harm. This is not just a review. This is a real life lived experience that I got subjected into. If you live in Cape Town and want to rent with these people, you might want to re consider. I'm writing this review on a sick bed and it's all thanks to the traumatic stress and anxiety that these people brought into my life. First of all. They operate in a doggy way. We paid a&nbsp; 118000 for 12 months and it's been hell on earth. I was told only when I was handed the keys that I will have to deal directly with the owner who turned out to be a nightmare. On our first night we were greeted by ****roaches. The linen closet has boxes of tiles which they refused to remove. Some tiles are loose. When I reported these things to the owner, she denied that there's ****roaches. The boxes of tiles became a blame game until I decided to sacrifice the space for my linen for their tiles. When we turned the hot water, the geyser leaked. When I reported it to the owner, she asked us to pack and leave if we are not happy. She said she's never had a tenant that complains so much like me. It's been nearly 12 months now that the City of Cape Town Municipality has been deducting our electricity to pay for the owner's arrears. When I told the owner, she threatened to sue me for spreading lies about her name. I mean this is real. It's not a joke or story. We suffer daily because we get 6 units for every 50 rand we spend on electricity. How is that slander? This has caused us so much hurt and pain and not just that, but has affected our health also. When I went to see the doctor I was told that I have excessive stress and anxiety. I got sick soon after I went to court on Friday the 30th of April to seek help after the owner sent me the email on Monday the 26th April asking that we must be out by Friday the 30th. These people have really caused us a great deal of harm.&nbsp;</div>
