How long is a ‘1hour repairs’ policy

My Iphone 4 screen cracked. I went to Cellucity in Kenilworth who referred me to the Appledoctor in Maitland, Cape Town. The Appledoctor advertises that repairs are done in a 1hour period! I specifically asked for only a screen replacement from the attending lady (Yumna) who advised me of the 1 hour waiting period and price. However, after 1 hour a technician came out to the waiting area to inform me that the volume control is faulty on my phone. ( I’m fully aware of this as it is my phone and i use it everyday, and if i wanted it fixed then i would have asked for that clearly). The technician, clearly only opened the phone at that time and saw the broken cable came rushing to inform me about it! I then i told him not to fix the volume control as i only wanted the screen fixed. 1 hour and 20 minutes on top of the adverised 1 hour repair period later, my screen was finally replaced. Very very bad service indeed. I went there early to get the full benefit of the 1 hour repair policy and to avoid the peak traffic, Only to leave very irate and 2 hours and 30 minutes later stuck in traffic on my way home. So much for the 1 hour repair policy!!!! Very Bad service at the end with a lady called Robyn! No apologies at all! Clearly there is a need for customer relations training! A lack of human relations- she was more upset and irritated with me, the paying customer!. I felt so sorry for the other customer, a lady with 2 toddlers who waited for about 3 hours!!!!! I hope she files a complaint!!!
