BAD SERVICE

I gave my device in for assesment, and they quoted for the repairs. Luckily a checked before leaving that it was actually working. Then they had to re asses it and came back to say it was irreparable. How is it that an "engineer" works on it but cant see what the problems are. i will think twice before i take my device there again.
