Apple iPhone 14 Pro specs questionable? No response from head office

My iPhone 14 Pro has specifications that state this device is safe in 6M water from up to 30 mins, the reason I bought this specific device is because I work around water. The apple store in George garden route mall have been fantastic in trying to resolve my issue, but apple head office do not respond to their employees request for help in this matter. My issue is I dropped my phone into 1.5 M of water for 1 min before retrieving it, which is well within the depth and time frame the apple specifications for this device state. Now the device is no longer and the apple store in George are trying assist, but apple head office are not responding. This device is only 1 year old.
