Apex Travel Club
Based on recent customer reviews, Apex Travel Club is facing serious reputational challenges, with customers consistently expressing frustration over the gap between what was promised during in-person presentations and what was actually delivered after joining. A recurring theme is difficulty obtaining refunds, unexpected ongoing fees despite expectations of a once-off payment, and unresponsive after-sales support. Several reviewers describe feeling pressured to sign on the spot. One isolated positive mention highlights a helpful agent assisting with a booking, though even this customer noted that promised savings did not materialise as expected.

I signed up with Apex Travel Club after attending an in-person presentation where I was promised access to exclusive travel deals and told the membership required only a once-off fee. Based on what was explained to me at the time, it sounded like a great opportunity and I agreed to sign up. However, after joining I started being charged monthly fees, which was not what I understood from the presentation. I also found that the “amazing deals” that were promised were either not available or not nearly what was described when I asked to use them. The presentation was done in person and I was strongly encouraged to sign the agreement on the spot, which makes it difficult to prove what was said verbally. Looking back, I wish I had taken more time to review everything carefully before signing. My experience has been extremely disappointing and very costly. I’m sharing this so that others do their research and read all terms carefully before committing, especially if they are being asked to sign during a presentation.

I’m posting this to warn others. We attended a presentation from Apex Travel Club and were convinced to sign up based on promises that didn’t match what we later experienced. After joining, we realised the service and value we were told about were not delivered, and we were unable to recover the money we paid. I don’t want anyone else to go through the same situation. Please take time to read reviews and double-check all details before committing to anything. I wish we had been better informed before attending.

Horrible! We attended a presentation in March in Newcastle kzn and was promised the moon and the stars by this agent and paid a lot of money to this guy sivhu and now? Now nothing we have not received anything, he has gone of with out free vouchers and my personal document info and the company, we'll they just say he doesn't work for them so they are not liable, which is VERY funny because he was talking to one of the managers and they knew him very well. SUCH ****MERS SO BEWARE. I am definitely taking this further. I won't leave it here
