Service Provider is finding reasons to reject claims

Now that I have read other reviews and noticed that I am not the only one who is being **********. I have been paying my premiums without any problems or contact from SP till now when I inquired about their claims process and I was advised to take my car in for inspection by Patrick Gezane to which I did and now he is coming up with all sorts of excuses to reject the claim and pay for the inspection fee, as we speak my wife is in hospital and I have no means of commuting between there and home. The Sales Agent was not transparent and advised that I did not need a Service history record at inception and now Patrick is dwelling on that excuse to reject the claim let alone pay the inspection fee which he advised the repairer to continue stripping my car in the first place.

Dear Thabo,

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to discuss the matter with you.

As confirmed with you by phone, the Underwriting manager has confirmed that due to the Lock down restrictions subsequent to Covid-19, they have provided you with an extension period to have your vehicle serviced and following which your claim will be accepted and assessed in line of the policy terms and conditions.

Regrettably you have opted to not have your vehicle serviced and subsequently requested cancellation of your policy. We confirm that your policy has been cancelled and confirmation of same has been provided you.

We trust that you will find the above to be in order.

Regards
Apex team
