Broken Crankshaft Help me for expenses

I Jacob Snyers *** get a brake down with my bakkie on the 05/07/2022 on my way to PE. My crankshaft broke I decided to contact my ensurance but can't get hold of them sent email but nothing I decided to bought the crankshaft and the parts what the private mechanical ask me. Made arrangment with a privat mechanical to overall the bakkies engine., Yesterday the ensurance call me tot the first time I told them what was going on and what I had to buy for my bakki repair of my vechile. They told me to go do RMI Workshop now what about the private mechanical who started working on my bakkie and the engine part I Al ready bought I just want a refund on my expenses.The Private mechanical ask me R32400 for the rebuilt of my engine and the installation of it again. My bakkie us stiped now by the mechanical workshop. I only want to be refund for what I had to spend for the repair my bakkie
