Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Avoid this company at all cost.

Firstly, they are expensive. Brokerage fees are high and I managed to get the exact same cover for 2/3 the price with no hassle.

Secondly, very poor service. No response to calls or emails. No value for my time or my business.

Thirdly, I didn't get what I paid for.

I claimed for an accident and the excess is 'unrecoverable' because the other person 'can't be reached' which is interesting as I provided all the details and the person is literally in public service. So you can't get a hold of anyone in the entire government service?

I also paid for a rental car to be available should I need it, and when I needed it, there was a lack of urgency and hours after asking I had to make another plan as I hadn't even received an acknowledgement of my request. Also no apology, no explanation and nobody taking responsibility for these incidents.

Lastly, there is a sheer lack of accountability bordering on dishonesty.

When I cancelled my policy I was quite frank about my reasons for doing so. On the official documentation, the reason is stated as me getting a better price elsewhere. I got my better quote after cancelling my policy, so it wasn't on the table. I left because of terrible service and that is what I communicated. I asked to have the document revised to reflect the truth, but have been ignored.

I'd hate to have APBCO as my backup in a crisis, as you've proven to fail even at the basics of service delivery.
